I think the side of the board section has too many shades, and the angle should be lowered slightly to look more horizontal. That is just my opinion though. I dont know what anyone else thinks

I tried another stance for Sonic, as well as a bumber more wider and the famous seven Chaos Emeralds. Please give me some feedback ^^

I don't have a lot to contribute to this but I was hoping to have some input.
I think your "new" version of the Sonic sprite is a bit too detailed for the somewhat simplistic style you're using, and the pupil is a bit too big.
What I did was, I used the "new" sprite's head with the "old" sprite's eyes, and removed the glossy shading. I also made Sonic's eye a pixel taller.

The eye seems a bit strange, and the shading on his lowest spike seems to interfere too much with the middle one. Nice work otherwise
