These sprites are extremely overused in many old 2D Flash Games and Animations, and for understandable reason:

There aren't many Modern sonic sprites anymore, only the old Classic Genesis ones, so people tend to mostly use the Advance sprite sheets for their work like me to make Modern styled games, heck, even Rush used the Advance Sprites (before switching to Moldels sadly), so I guess this is a reason?

@Grinder74, for the most part, yes, but there are some exclusive to Advance 2 like the trick animations and the special stage sprites.

if you google them, you can find SA2 Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails, I dunno why they aren't here, though. they have some unique poses and such that you can't find on the SA3 sheet, so it'd be nice to have them here.

@Shade: Yeah, and I'll be listing which animations on the sheet are from which games (especially for the few that were modified for Advance 3). Rush's should be obvious, though, since there's only a couple of animations for it from Blaze's ending.

I have a complete re-rip of Cream the Rabbit that I've been working on for a while, with sprites from Advance 2, 3 and Rush. I'll see about finishing that up before the year's over.

I've started on sheeting those before but haven't got around to actually finishing them up. I'll see what I can do, I doubt it'll be anytime in the near future though.

Hrm...that's odd. I could have sworn the Spriters Resource already had sprites for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles from this game. Is anyone able to rip those sprites? I myself have never ripped sprites before, and I need them for a sprite project.

The playable character sprites for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are incorrect. They go in the Sonic Advance section, not the Sonic Advance 2 section.
