I still can't find the red light that creates energy spheres from final zone

I see what you're referring to, apparently the palettes are buggered up for the first "Hit" sprite, both ending sets and parts of the Green Hill Zone mech. I'll see if I can get those fixed up in a few, got nothing better to do right now.
(EDIT: Re-ripped the sprites in question now.)

@Deathbringer I don't know where to show an image or how to describe it perfectly, but if you look closely at some of the sprites in a pixel art editor or something, you'll see that some parts of Robotnik are slightly blurred.

Like what?

While I do like this sprite sheet rip, I question, why are some parts of Eggman weirdly blurred?

Wow, you guys went through all this work *just* to rip Eggman's sprites? Honestly these sprites deserve it. Though they would have palette problems on Sonic 2/3&K, they're probably the best sprites of Eggman.

I think the spring would function similar to the Egg press from Sonic Advance 1

@SonicHex Actually, as the bottom text in the Unused Spring Boss sheet in Sonic the Hedgehog (Prototype) specifies, it's "Possibly intended for Sparkling as most bosses are themed after stage obstacles", which is clever since Sparkling/Spring Yard is littered with springs.

@SonicHex You can still make Dr. Robotnik explode before reaching the top

care to hear a theory where the spring was meant to be used?
labyrinth zone, it would make sense if originally eggman was meant to start bouncing around after escaping trough the shaft, but it was scrapped because players could potentially make him explode before he even got to the top

Shouldn't the end sign eggman stomps on at the end when you get the good ending be in the ending stage? (or a credits sprite sheet)

I made a sheet which will be easy to use to for most of people, thanks to boxes I did. I will add more stuff into my sheet and upload it again

@Triangly I was upset discovering the my sheet was replaced, because I ripped everything directly from the ROM data, and wanted to change it back.
But yeah, I felt the stuff in my rip was missing in yours. Let me know next time.

Why did you uploaded this sheet again? If your reason is "because not all of this were in new sheet" then it doesn`t count, everything else are exist in Zones sheets @Dolphman

I figure the Eggmobile exploding is more of an anime-ism, like how Team Rocket getting shot into the sky doesn't kill them.

@Gamerz31w
That's in another sheet. And as I explained there, it's highly unlikely that he was intended to "die," as there've been worse explosions he's been caught in later (ie the endings of Sonic CD and Sonic Colors Wii).

I have this feeling like some sprites are removed from these Dr.Robotnik's sprites and tilesets. If I'm not wrong Ivo Robotnik had death sprites when his Eggmobile explodes.I dunno maybe these sprites never existed and it's just my imagination. It was more than detonator sprites, right?

I think that the mobile remastered version the glare object is already pasted on the sprites. Like you said, the 16-bit version pastes it on the ball, it only seems to appear every other frame. It's supposed to represent transparency since the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive didn't have transparency as far as I know.

Indeed it is, as it's separate from the ball in the data. Then coded in-game to be on it.
Not only that, the ball itself in the data shows only one quarter. (Half with the other)
As you can guess, evrything is coded to be put together in-game

What's that projectile thing to the left of the See-Saw bomb sprites? I think that's the lighting/reflection/whateveritis for the wrecking ball.
