@WilliamStef Technically Super Pierrot is a later revision that also got ported to the MSX. Japan got Do! Run Run like the rest of us.

As for why Universal changed it from Mr. Do! to Super Pierrot. No clue. Only things that I can think of are either a copyright issue or they wanted to make a quick buck on unsold boards since they quit making games during this time (only started again when they became the pachinko company Aruze).

This game was released in Japan as Super Pierrot and Mr. Do’s sprites are different.

Somehow Mario Galaxy had that same death animation and got away with an E rating.

Actually that's not the snake dying, that's it forming into a fireball before charging at the player.
If anything it'd get rated M for Mr. Do being electrocuted and skinned alive when he dies.

for completely out of place, insanely bloody snake deaths.
