@Danny Jarguin THQ had distribution rights to the Advance series outside of Japan and they went under in 2012, the rumour being that the paperwork is missing. Also Advance 1 & 2 were published by Infogrames in Europe/Australia and while they didn't go under the company was split (it became Atari, the distribution side later became Bandai Namco Europe somewhere in the mid-late 2000s while the publishing side became messy due to so many changeovers over at Atari). Personally I don't believe Sega losing the rights to their own games but it is what people had said. It would be a Sega move though if it was true. |
