After some research, all I could find about it was a gif, that said it was from the 17 May 1993 prototype, but that prototype uses a completely different tileset to the one in the gif. Also neither The Cutting Room Floor nor Sonic Retro mention that enemy or show its sprites as unused anywhere (including the main game pages, prototype pages and different console version pages) |
