Feb 7, 2024 9:11 AM shadowman44 Asset: Success & Failure Messages Why did they use "Peter covered in soup from that one specific scene" for the failure screen

Feb 7, 2024 6:47 AM Dolphman Asset: Orbot & Cubot This is an old sprite that's been around DA for years. I don't get why they used GBA Amy for this when they're clearly in Genesis scale and palettes to boot

Feb 7, 2024 4:21 AM Doc von Schmeltwick Game: Super Mario World @Dragon They're under "foreground tiles." You shouldn't be looking in the maps for specific tiles, anyway.
Feb 7, 2024 3:07 AM SonicSpeed64879 Asset: Knuckles (Super Mario Bros. NES-Style) you should do tails
Feb 7, 2024 2:33 AM DragonDePlatino Game: Super Mario World Was it really necessary to split this up into 180+ individual vgmap rips, this is so granular that it's become useless I just want to find where the vines are
Feb 7, 2024 2:22 AM Doc von Schmeltwick Game: Famicom Golf: U.S. Course (JPN) Gonna update on the below comment:
That requires a physical copy that had a cumulative score of at most 320 (about 80 points for four slots) AND was registered with Nintendo's "Disk Fax" system back in 1987
-OR-
The prize card "Special Course" after getting the cumulative score under 320.

As only the latter has a ROM dump, I will be attempting to get it from that version, but as it's harder, it may take a while, even with save states. Worth noting is that the palettes appear to be the same as Mario's.
Feb 7, 2024 2:17 AM * Doc von Schmeltwick Asset: Subscreens Apparently the appearance of the service data screen could be updated with Nintendo's "disk fax" service back in the day, but that would require a physical copy that had gone through it back in '87. Anyways, I've added some more default-state screens accessible by hitting the select button on the name register, which also replace the other two screens on the main menu in Professional Course (and probably Champions Course).
Feb 7, 2024 2:00 AM Imirui Asset: Character Portraits & Related This is missing icons. One that is missing is the "?" character icons for Daisy and Waluigi. If you force the game to start with uninitialized data, they will instead be represented by a ? and be locked, unable to be used.
