I'm not going to lie, I've always hated the manual art Ridley and I have never understood the praise I've seen it get for being "more alien." It's a generic dragon body with a discount Xenomorph head, it's no more unique than what he became. Nonetheless, it was fun to work out how it might have worked as a sprite.

Sep 8, 2020 2:22 PM Paraemon Asset: Angel Island Zone Act 1 (Green, Dry) Full map rips aren't actually that easy. Fun to do? Sure, depending on the stage. But Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles have the hardest bunch of maps; I have Carnival Night Zone Act 2 alongside Act 2 of this on the go at the moment and it is detestable.

Tile sets, on the other hand, are for those who are playing around with ROM hacking.

When I saw that the sprites for Weird Mario had identical proportions to Goofy, I decided to make this spritesheet (and I actually used them for a project of mine before I uploaded this).
I'll also update this sheet to include palette-swaps that reference other media (like old shorts, comics, etc).
