Did think back then to do a full sheet however decided not to as it wasn't really ripping, even thought of taking the whole sheet down... Most of these Sonic Xtreme sprites that were ripped came from a file that was shared on Sonic Retro as standards on this site was a lot looser than today and was a project I believe. Had they been submitted today, the entire lot would have been rejected because a) they weren't in the actual game files from any public prototypes since Saturn emulation was quite bad back then with only one decent emulator and b) these came from a leak and the sprites were in a file called PackageX, similar to the Gigaleak/Pokemon Space World demos that have happened in recent history. |

Act 1.5 is a legit glitch though, and Blue Knuckles still appears in the level select if you trigger the "Megaglitch" regardless of what official version of the game you use. |

| Oct 9, 2020 10:40 PM | Louplayer | Asset: Mini Wing Fortress (Expanded, Sonic 2-Style) | so, in the original version i made, it was but, it wasn't really faithful to the actual tiles in the level, so i changed the front of the fortress a lot, making it bigger and more square like. i could still try to do a more level select like version if someone is intrested, but this is a more "size accurate" version i think. |

I'm not sure what the exact trigger is - when I did it by accident, it was because I broke a ramp sequence, but looking it up on Youtube showed different methods. Plus, the glitch draws the cycling palette data from Act 1 for the rock "undershine", the general Act 2 palette for the stage and the 'cavern' spaces, the Boss Sub-Act (this one was a bizarre find) palette for the pipes, and a purple color not used in any of the aforementioned stage entries. I relied on Youtube to fill in the palette blanks in a similar manner to how I acquired the Super Knuckles palette in Sonic 2 2013's Hidden Palace Zone. |
