StillTL;DR: tiny

@KirbyLover2048 I totally agree with you, they're far too small to be "SNES style". I couldn't really do anything with them except maybe add a few extra details, like shading or other colors that seemed like they needed for the characters.

I think these don't need an "SNES style" to begin with, to put it bluntly. The sprites are compressed to such a tiny space that they barely have room for detail, some of the things are set to two or three pixels and nothing more. One way you could make it "SNES" filling in some of those inner black pixels with a darker color.
That being said though, this is a good attempt, but I think more could have been done for both this and the mages. The biggest thing to point out is the silhouette of the mages. All of the shading doesn't use those extra black pixels inside of the mages' sprites (the ones outlining the arms, hood, etc.), and the only sprites that DO do that are the climbing sprites which already used the third color in the palette for it.
Another thing to mention is the palette: The colors are too close together in darkness and it's hard to see the shading, and I think there's too many colors for both characters. The mages use one color for the magic and three colors for shading (lightest, middle, darkest), not counting the robe color, black, and white. The skeletons use four shading colors as well as a fifth (darkest) for the eyes, and again, disregarding black and white.
I put my attempt at the bottom of this image.
TL;DR:
It's not bad, but there's a lot of things to improve for this sheet and the mages' sheet.
Oh, also, you forgot to color the green skeleton with its palette.

@smedis2 I honestly don't know. This was very hard to shade due to how it was already shaded in the first place, but I somehow got it to work ?

how the actual fuck would something that tiny be feasibly done in a "snes style"
