	@Dolphman Although this argument is old, I like the Advance/Battle sprites as they're nice and expressive, although I do think that they've become a bit too overused, and I share the same feelings for Mania or S3K sprites as they seem to be overused these days, IMO the best Sonic Sprites are Mod.Gen's, they have the expressiveness of Advance and the same style as most Genesis sprites meaning they won't clash.

	@Dolphman i agree looks at the cancelled Sonic Adventure Emerald and Sonic Legends from the Blue Renegade also the only other good things about the advance sprites are the explosion effects(the ones from advance 1-3 when a badnik gets destroyed and the sonic battle explosions,both look freaking awesome with sonic 2 and ModGen colors)

	I wouldn't call those two series "good" as the former stirs arguments and feels a bit bias most of the time, which resulted with me to never bother with it. While the latter is a headache of clashing sprite styles from both Mario and Sonic games. Sure Alvin's great with his sprite movies, but the sprites are all over the place, which hurts SMBZ. Seriously dude, search Sonic sprites on Deviantart or Google and you'll be greeted with horrible Advance edits and recolours. It's a nuisance seeing them everywhere. Genesis sprites are not overused, Advance sprites are. The only thing Genesis sprites have been used are fan-games, and the developers actually do put effort in editing everything, which is why quite a few are still in development. Every fan-game that uses Advance sprites has been either cancelled or forever on hold because they just put no effort in them (recycling tilesets and props with little to no editing) some even going as far as clashing them with Genesis sprites. Plus, the sprite style sucks, making them targets to said above bad editing and recolouring. Most of those from Mystical Forest Zone and Sonic Retro also hate them. This spritesheet was done for the purpose as a resource sheet for ROM hacks, comics, animations and fan-games so they don't have to throw in the smaller originals, which results in them clashing with the bigger Genesis Badniks. And that's my two cents.

	Sounds like you and me grew up on oposite ends of the internet, I've seen genisis style being overused with the only uses of advance style being in a couple of really good series like death battle and SMBZ. And theres just alot more characters with full advanced or battle style sheets to the point where trying to catch up in genisis style is such an up hill battle that I'd probably be in an old folks home before we came even close.

	Most likely never, because I hate Advance style due to being overused in fanworks. And there's also the problem with crappy recolours everywhere on the net. Seriously, it's really annoying how little there is of genesis style customs.

	Probably the same upscaling and reshading technique done with these. But as of now, I'm going to be busy with Christmas these two weeks. So maybe on another time when I bother to do it. You can't rush art. ;) And this sheet was long overdue because I had it in my archives unfinished.
