My question is, why do people hate on Dream Team? Dream Team was really fun, albeit easy, and looks great. Also, is SuperStar Saga's sprites being overused a bat thing? I mean, they are very expressive, and look very nice.

@TheMorningFlash15 Well then at least they'll be on-model? Because quite frankly Superstar Saga's sprites for almost everyone except Mario & Luigi are absolutely hideous, IMO. Bowser looks like a frog on the overworld, Toadsworth is way too tall and thin, those massive Troopas with the shells going behind the head just look WRONG, and Hammer Bros. look like one got caught in a teleporter with AoStH Robotnik, for example.

I know they were going for goofy and whimsical, but it still makes me feel uncomfortable to look at them, especially when they're outside this game.

I would like to see the Jellyfish in the 2.5d style, though ^-^;;

@Doc von Schmeltwich Well, the remake appears to reuse Dream Team's graphics (AGAIN), so if Dream Team's graphics become "overused" (Which I've been seeing them get used more often), then yes, the remake's sprites will be overused.

The only thing that's missing that I can't seem to find yet is the blocks used in battle. Y'know, like the "Solo" attack block.

Cleaned up this section a lot. I didn't realize how much we're missing, especially in the maps. I combined and renamed and deleted a lot. Let me know if you notice anything else that is wrong.

I think one of the main reasons why people often use the sprites from this game for animations is because there's a lot of premade posses & animations to work with so they don't require to much customization, making them easy resources to use.
Not to mention that they are well polished, good looking sprites.

People in Pixel Land use this. In the Sonic sprite videos use Sonic Advance. I use any sprites except this.

I wish the MLPIT/MLBIS scene got more attention, these game's sprites are so underused compared to MLSS. And thanks to the influx of sprites of the former, that may just happen.

Whenever someone makes a Mario related sprite video, they always use the MLSS sprites. I'm kinda sick of it at this point.
