I've seen a few suggestions recently. Politely, Kana's been working hard in her free time to push uploads. She doesn't have to do it, nor does she owe anyone any specific sprites. The fact she's fixed practically everything and sorted everything should be considered a lot already as-is, especially with the fact she's also updated the list to completion from when she started.

If you'd like missing characters, perhaps try ripping them yourself if you're worried Kana 'forgot' them. Otherwise, you can wait for her to upload whatever she happens to have on hand, as obtaining the cache for this game is quite annoying. That being said, I cannot speak for her. Just keep in mind that this job is a tedious task and it takes time.

No problem! I appreciate the thanks ^_^ As of tonight I uploaded the missing sprites from global, and uploaded a fixed Rinnosuke. If anyone else notices a broken sheet please ask, as it doesn't take me much time to fix. And also remember I target global and not JP since it's harder to get JP assets.

Hi, I apologize that was a hard sheet to make. Since I keep the source files for all of these, I'll have that fixed and uploaded by tomorrow. Maybe with the newly released characters, idk. I don't have much a drive to upload anymore.

@KanaKonpaku no idea if you will see this comment or not but one of the arms on the Rinnosuke sheet are overlapping with the bounding boxes that the arms are suppose to be inside of, would you be able to fix that sheet soon? Thanks, Greg

Hi. The easiest way to place faces is to look at the prerendered face that comes with most the sheets. Typically eyebrows will be slightly into the line of the bangs, and the face will be as centered as possible. Some faces have extra shadowing which actually contains the bangs in the shadows which make it easier to line up. Best of luck.

Congrats on getting everything updated here kana, although I still have a little question to ask? What is the best way to line the faces up to the character bodies, its a little awkward to do so for me so if there is any simple tricks I could do it would be appreciated.

This is it. The big update we've all been waiting for. As the time of writing this every character that is in the game, is in the queue to be uploaded here! This includes EVERYTHING I have mined out of the game. Every PC-98 and a few other goodies. All sprite sheets should be shadowless on the eyes.

As happy as it all may seem, this is likely where I will stop. I have sheets lined up for this weeks global release of Shinmyoumaru, Smol Suwako, and the two new fantasy rebirths, but after that... I need time to myself. I've been working on updating this page since January. Since then, I've had to start from square zero TWICE because of discovering first how clean the faces, and then how to clean the portraits... It's drained me more than I ever wanted. Not to mention a few users on here have pestered me asking how I did things WHILE WORKING ON THIS or to upload faster, as though I don't have a job and this isn't a hobby. Thankfully most people have been respectful here, and I thank everyone here for that. If you are interested in sprite ripping the game beyond this week, I'm open to responding in DMs as I don't wish my method to leak and mess with future rips.

Good evening all,
Things are going along a bit slower than I anticipated however I'm in the final stretch of this project. There are 517 portrait characters, and as of now I have uploaded through Sanae, making the progress at 369 out of 517. This is more than 2/3 done, but less than 3/4 done. My current hope is to be done this week, but I can't guarantee this. Once the portrait characters are done, I'll also add cutscene only characters, as well as some newer ones I'm not at liberty to discuss yet.

Also, thanks IVBOY, it's been a hard work on the project. Lots of lost sleep to get this much done.

Good morning all. This is a bit more serious than usual for me. When I upload these spritesheets, I upload them for the community to use them and the likes for personal viewing, use in other projects, etc. However, someone out there is taking my sheets, cropping them, and uploading the portraits to the successor of the old LostWord Booru site. I know this is the case because I haven't told anyone the way I fixed shadowing on my portraits and facial sheets, yet the site is posting them as of a few days ago. I always move the portraits just a few pixels to the right so I know when people are taking my work uncredited. The stuff is also cropped differently than my program outputs it, which the program actually gets straight from the game. I know not much can be done about this, but all I ask is for credit if you're going to post my stuff elsewhere instead of outright stealing my work. If this gets to ridiculous I will stop uploading, but for now I will continue. I put a lot of work into this stuff, more than a lot of people realize.

Good afternoon, progress is a bit further than that as I upload in batches. That being said, I have through Mystia done on my end. I'm trying to do what I can but it's very easy to get burned out on this stuff. I'm targeting 20 sheets a day give or take, but progress halted for today since I have a migraine. There are actually more around 280 sheets left as there's a total of 520 in my master spreadsheet. As long as I'm given time, I'll have them uploaded as fast as I can all I ask is that people don't ask for uploads as I'm going as fast as I can. I work a 7-4 job, and this is taking a lot of my free time. Regardless thanks for the interest, and wish me luck!

For anyone who is wondering, as of 3/21/2024 Kana has gotten up to Miyoi in terms of the fixed character sheets, they certainly have made great progress by this point, here's hoping everything goes well for Kana's progress on getting all the sheets update, I'm certainly waiting with great anticipation! (so there should be about approximately 240 sheets left by my count, more or less depending of if there are still characters that were added to the game that are not already here or not?)

It's been a week since my last update on my progress here. That being said, I've updated/uploaded 220 sprite sheets now. Things are going along well, and everything up to Marisa has been updated. New uploads for this one include PC-98 Marisa now. I'll keep going at my pace, I'm still hoping to have this project done by the end of this month. It's roughly 1/3~1/2 done at this point. I'll try to keep consistently uploading.

Good afternoon all, I come with a decent update. I have updated/added about 80 or so spritesheets to the character portraits. The updated ones have fixed portraits and facial portraits without the weird shadowing effect on them, and about 20 or so of them are brand new. I couldn't added a lot of the base characters that were ripped before I started on this as I still will have to work with the original posters on that. I believe I made it alphabetically through "Hata no Kokoro" in terms of updates/uploads of current stuff. That being said, I'm gonna grind away at a few a day, and I'm hoping to upload all the corrected sheets that I can by the end of this month.

Also thanks to everyone for the support, this is quite the lengthy project due to having to update literally everything I've done, but I want to provide the best possible rips I can!

I wouldn't even react to demanding people who want to see stuff or even apologizing for being slow with rips. As long as they're not unfriendly, you can safely ignore whatever they say, since it doesn't matter in the first place (it's your ripping project, after all). For everything else, we have a report button.

Anyway, just take your time, these Touhou rips are great =)

IVBOY, I have solved the transparent alpha issues. Check the Alice spritesheets as proof of that. Feel free to DM about that.

Firstly, Evan I'm sick of explaining over and over that work is being done. If you can't deal with me having to balance a job everyday, then try to update every spritesheet and upload all the new ones yourself. I have FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN CHARACTERS I need to update or upload. Yes, that is 515. That required me to rerip every one of them to fix the black alpha channels on all the portraits and facial work. I'm sorry you can't wait but I'm doing things as fast as I can.

@IVBOY I'm sure Kana has, I just don't think we wants to do sprite rips anymore but I could be wrong. We'll just see what fate brings us.

Did you happen to have Mima and Shinki's sprites btw?
