Well, the good news is that there aren't as many missing frames as I thought. The spinning doesn't go through the whole animation, and only three of the angles have this animation happen. I should have them done before Saturday!

I can't say for sure if they're missing here though. I'm about to submit the revision for Mario's sheet right now. Should be approved in about ten minutes or so.

EDIT: Oh, that was fast! It's already up!

@Random Talking Bush here's an example of what I was talking about.

Are you sure that those don't just re-use existing sprites? I don't think I saw any other sprites in the ROM for that sorta thing.... are those the "Spin" animations you're thinking of like the one I already have on Bowser's sheet here?

I double-checked it, and it appears that they may be different, as they stay upright instead of leaning their bodies as they do when they're turning. If this is true, that means all of the existing racers sheet are missing many frames...

@Mr. C I think the spinning sprites are different from their turning sprites. Its been a while since I played MK64, so I'm not entirely sure.

No, they just spin around.

Don't the characters also have an animation for when they hit a banana peel?

They've always looked like sprites to me.

I always found it obvious they were prerendered sprites. Pixels around edges, otherwise too smooth for N64....
I didn't realize at first how many variables there were, though.

This whole time I thought all the characters were models.
