(NOTE: This is somewhat outdated now that the original upload has been replaced by a revised sprite sheet, but I'm keeping it here for posterity, anyway, in case it's relevant for whatever reason.)

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: All sprite sets included are as they appear in the game's data. This is why certain swords, bows, and knives appear to be missing frames that others have; no corresponding frames for those weapons were included in the game's files; at least, that I could find.

I tried to arrange weapons by type, and then in ascending order of power/acquisition, but I haven't actually played the Pixel Remaster of Final Fantasy III yet (though I have completed the previous two versions of the game), so some weapon sets, particularly the staves, rods, claws, and knives, may be arranged "out of order".

Certain swords have been rotated 90° clockwise in order to match them all as a set, since some sword sprites' "default positions" are pointed up-left (after-swing position), while others are pointed up-right (pre-swing position). I opted for up-right for all swords here, since I feel that flows better, aesthetically, into the "slash trail" frames of the Salamand Sword, Freezing Blade, and Ragnarok.

I'm also not confident about the placement of the golden sword at the very beginning of the swords set. After a LOT of cross-examination of sword designs from Final Fantasy III DS and Final Fantasy V (from which FFIII PR borrows liberally in terms of weapon sprites), process of elimination pointed me towards it being the Gold Sword, which is the weakest in the game (and so is listed first here). It's possible that it's actually a different sword, though. In particular, the Defender isn't specifically accounted for. I assumed it might use the same sprite as Excalibur, like in Final Fantasy V, but I could be wrong about that. There are 16 swords in Final Fantasy III's NES and Pixel Remaster versions, but only these 15 sprites are present in the files. I'm always open to corrections!

Anyways, it ain't my pixel art, so no credit is required. That's actually why I don't "sign" any sprite sheets I rip and compile; I'll ask for credit when I actually made the art, but in cases such as this, go nuts and have fun!
