fact of the day: nitrome (the flash games one) was actually involved in the development or publishing (I don't remember which one it was but it still was involved with this game)

It's a customized build I did that not only fixes a nasty glitch found primarily in Cuphead sprites (this one specifically), it also gives the sprites their proper offsets, which is exactly what you're looking for!

the method im using to pull these from the files includes the annoying offsets as they have those in the game files (so yes likely saved the offsets for each sprite elsewhere), so if i am to go and fix that i have to go and manually attempt to correct the offsets myself which is an incredibly tedious process (as it is to rip the files)

hoping to return to ripping the rest of things soon

hey! I got on here because I noticed the files are pretty much just centered and cropped to the sprite's size. you said "they are being pulled pretty much 1:1 from the game's files, including some of the weird offsets that will take a long time to correct." is that what you mean by that? I've worked with WF but not Yatchclub or Nitrome, when I submitted my work it was centered similarly to a gif, trying to mantain the center of gravity as center of the character as much as possible, this would be better mantained by not cropping the original files at all, trying to restore the offsets would be an educated guess at best, unless you compared to the ingame animations frame by frame. If the characters were centered in the gamefiles the way they are ripped (were they?) it would mean they probably auto cropped and saved the x-y offsets elsewhere. interesting stuff. EDIT: against my better judgement I've recentered shovel with best guesses myself anway XD can send if you're interested

Hey Peporoni, I do plan to make some combined full sheets for most characters later on but some characters like drill knight ESPECIALLY have a metric ton of sprites and as such would have gargantuan sheets, plus a lot of duplicates I have to spend extra time trying to clean up (Literally there are 3 duplicates of drill knight's entire base sprite set through the files, and that's only one example).

I'll be continuing to export all of these as I can as its an ongoing project of mine to eventually extract and export everything, but other than that they are being pulled pretty much 1:1 from the game's files, including some of the weird offsets that will take a long time to correct.

Next set of sprites I'm gonna go for are all the general enemies as I've started to sink my teeth into that with the Drill guard, they've got some pretty interesting construction for a few of them so it's gonna take some time.

Finally, someone's getting onto Dig! Thank you! But do you think you could put the larger zip files into sheets as opposed to each individual sprite being a file? It's a bit confusing. Also for the ones that do have sheets could you please make sure that the animations are all framed correctly? The formatting makes putting these together really tricky.
