@Lotgame What are you talking about? Assuming you're talking about the 1992 Shogakukan manga she originated from, she looked exactly like she does here a majority of the time in it.

"incorrectly named" she's incorrectly colored and dressed she's meant to be brown with an E on her dress, her hair was supposed to be very very different but i guess they just went like "lets do get lots of things wrong for no reason speedrun"

I just realized that the artwork that right Amy is based on is the reason why Amy always had her hair pointing up in the Fleetway comics. Talk about misinterpretation!

The error in question? え was literally translated to e's short sound instead of a's short sound. え is pronounced as a short "eh"

I think that these sprites were planned for a screensaver or something.

I honestly like this "Big Sprite" style, it gives the feel of a S2HD styled look, while keeping the Genesis/CD's colors, and still being sprites

Not necessarily; can you imagine how much work would be required to adjust every single object in CD to match the larger style? I think they just decided to show off some pixel art work to go as a bonus to buying the PC port.

Anyone else think there may have been plans to amp up the graphics for the 1995 PC release and these are all that's left?
