Hi, hello, and also howdy to all you nifty peeps out there. It's that time of the week again: update time! *everyone begins clapping, including myself*

Thank you, thank you, but as great as I evidently am, I'm clearly not the focus here today. Nope, today we have content to focus on and that content is cool as heck, lemme be the first to tell you. Why? Because any content is cool as heck content, and it was submitted by cool as heck nerds just like you and me, which makes it even more cool as heck.

We've got loads from James Cameron's Titanic Explorer, a lil bit of Overwatch, Final Fantasy: Record Keeper, Great Golf / Masters Golf, some customs, more miscellaneous NES rips from the NES project on the forums that's still managing to pump out new stuff, and plenty more than that so have a look, woo-hoo.

@Petie I think I can speak for the majority of the users here when I say that we appreciate your work. I know that for me at least I'll continue to submit my rips as long as I am ripping sprites and the site is around.

We're not planning on going anywhere any time soon so as long as there's continued interest, we're in it for the long-haul.

@Yawackary well according to Petie there were still nearly 1,000 sheets pending mere hours ago (20 of which are mine). So, I think unless the VG Resource merges with another similar site or if all the staff just flat out gives up, the site is going to be fine.

100,000 sheets? That's a lot. Thanks everyone for getting this far. Plus tSR in its more or less current form is also 10 years old (as in when the forums split with Pixeltendo and the beginning of the Sounds, Textures and Models focus). 10 years sure have gone quick.

Will tSR get to 200,000 sheets in another 10 years time or will it start to decline in terms of submissions?

@Petie thank you for explain this (again). It is hard to wait to find out if a submission is accepted or not, but I'd like to believe it is a payoff worth the wait.

Edit: Also good news @Dunkelschwamm, I just added up the sheets, and it seems The Spriters Resource is now official over 100,000 sheets. Yes, at the time of typing this there are 100,036 sheets. FYI, I've been doing this for a while waiting for this day (although I haven't always been announcing it [I was for awhile, but than I stopped]).

@JamminJelly A month is nothing. There are nearly 1,000 sheets pending right now, some going back over a year. We have a small staff and ridiculous amounts of activity so it takes a while. There's a thread on the forum that outlines why it takes so long but the general message is "be patient."

I remember when people would complain that their sheets had been waiting for 3 months, now people complain at 1? Suppose the one rip I completed and submitted was run through fairly quickly, but it was a map....

I don't know where to post about stuff like this, so I'm just gonna drop it off here: I submitted a sheet over a month ago and it hasn't been accepted yet.

Look at the forum's rules regarding that, there's PROBABLY a reason.

And if you know these principles already, you probably shouldn't be responding like this anyway.

@Superjustinbros yeah we can re-create all of Titanic, and add Dragon Ball Z characters, Nintendo characters, Sega characters, Capcom characters, Konami characters, Midway characters, Bubsy characters, DC characters, Marvel characters, Yu Yu Hakusho characters, Sailor Moon Characters, and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs characters. Plus we could add the games Pacman and Pong. What a world we live in.

We have Arcade rips, DS / DSi rips, Game Boy Advance rips, Genesis / 32X / SCD rips, Master System rips, Mobile rips, Neo Geo / NGCD rips, Neo Geo Pocket rips, NES rips, PC / Computer rips, PlayStation 4 rips, SNES rips, Super Cassette Vision rips, Wii rips, and ZX Spectrum rips. Plus we have some Custom / Edited sheets.
