i just noticed:
the sprite from when Sonic gets up in his "Very Bored/Continue" animation is the exact same as that one frame from the Nick Arcade prototype after Sonic bonked into a wall at full speed and then got back up

@ZekeD2011 Yes, i think so. I think Asperite allows you to switch colors on sprites to one on another palettes. You can also do something similar on MS paint. Use Color 1 for the color you want to replace and Color 2 for the color you want to replace it with. Click on eraser tool, and right click on the pixels of the color you want replacing to change it.

Sonic and Super Sonic both have two extra angled walk and run frames (in fact everyone does, this is a genesis game.)

Please include those.

From using the Eraser tool or the Magic Wand? For the Eraser tool, make sure the Mode is on Pencil or Block, not Brush.

Am i the only one who gets a little blur on the edges when trying to remove the background from the sprites? it will also take the black away from the sprite. maybe thats just photoshop acting up because the eraser is for higher res images.

@CC2.0 The shading is wildly inconsistent in Sonic 2, I don't see that as an excuse for it to not be in. As it only appears for one frame, I'm assuming they thought it was unused.

I say this to MCTravisYT, maybe was because the sahding does not match the actual game, but they don't deleted at all because was a work, a work by the artists, so they put it.

Poor Balance turning sprite is not even used in Sonic 2 Mobile ports This tiny detail is so strange yet interesting at the same time however is just 1 frame not everyone saw it when there younger, I'm included

The balancing sprite is completely unused in the 2013 mobile port, it's not used in Sonic's .ani file at all. It's only existence there is just in the sprite sheets and nothing else.

It isn't. Contrary to Cybershell's video it's in the mobile port albeit still restricted to the literal one frame, but can be best viewed in a Prototype with debug active so you can see the game frame-by-frame.

Aight, my bad attitude from this morning long over (please consider I will be not as nice when I first get online, this has happened so many times before), thank you for the addition, Travis.

I've submitted a revision to this sheet that is applicable to all other sheets that are under my name, though those revisions will come eventually, so please start getting used to the idea - please PM (or on Discord, DM) me about an issue or oversight. I'm not fond of having to stop doing something else or reading a comment when I'm afk and can't get to working on it immediately, especially when it's, at least in my worldview, forced public laundry. Contrary to any expectation I've developed over the last few years, I can actually be very welcoming to mistakes if you just approach me one-to-one.

@Παρατηρητής We don't deserve you. You've done such a spectacular job on a sheet that definitely needed that polish it desperately needed, and I'd definitely recommend going back to your break from this, seeing as people aren't respecting your time and whatnot.
