That's what I had originally and that's why I split them up. Because of color overlap between some lines, it couldn't work as a singular sheet.

I get the bewilderment, but there really is no good way for this because there's always going to be one user every so often who comes back with "I tried changing the colors from one to another and now it looks wrong" - and I've said it before, this for Ice Cap Zone is nothing compared to what will come for something from Chaotix.

@paraemon have you thought of having just a palette look up table for all the difrent palettes instead of making an entirely difrent sheet for each palette?

Maybe all the ice cap backgrounds could be in a zip file, so still all the images, but doesn't take up a lot of space on the page

I wasn't trying to say to put Origins stuff here. I know it would need its own section in PC. But I wasn't sure where else to tell people, since AFAIK no one's ripping Origins stuff yet, so it doesn't have a page yet. Hence putting a note here.

Repeating: Answer's further down the page. tl;dr - to make it easier for other users. Addition: It's not that easy to actually straight adjust the palettes, and this was the best way to resolve it without going to a zip file.

And Ice Cap isn't even going to be anywhere near the worst. Stares exhaustedly at Chaotix's Amazing Arena

...Is... No-one gonna note how Ice Cap Zone is taking like, more than half of the Background Sub-section? Maybe uh... Merge the sheets so it isn't repeated unecessarily?

Which cannot be placed on these sheets since those sprites don't come from this version.

I heard in Sonic Origins version of this game, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles have unique rotation sprites when looking up and crouching.

I'd think that'd go to the PC pages. I'd love to include them but they didn't come from this version.

I don't know where else to put this, but Sonic Origins Collection has updated sprites, at least for Sonic and especially Super Sonic. Anyone who's good at ripping PC stuff, not a demand, just an FYI.

Depends what you're asking about, but generally, the S&K stuff is on the Sonic & Knuckles page. It'd be a bit more than a mess if both games were on a singular page due to all the weird and minute detail differences, and they were released separately to begin with. Some S3K-only stuff can be found here, again, depending on the content context.

where are the S&K / S3&K Stuff?

I don't use SonMapEd often, and half the controls/options don't actually work when I do, so I don't see much incentive with it - generally, I have a set structure for ripping things, and it varies from object to object since the method has to be adapted suited to what it is and what its colors are.

Do people use SonMapEd to rip sprites in BMP format? and is it allowed? Just wanna know because that'll make ripping sprites in Sonic games on the Genesis a snap. Just create some BMPs from the image, throw it together in paint.net, boom! You're done.

Mostly updates for palette lines (so they have better reference points), the disclaimer boxes, and anything else that needed adjusting/inserting. Most of the new version files were done before Christmas as part of a much large batch plan, but, that's fallen through and become part of a smaller set that will be finished tomorrow afternoon.

I just noticed a sudden influx of updates to this page, namely its bosses, but..could I ask what all changed about them?

@ilovescratchcie: That wouldn't go here, it would go in the Sonic & Knuckles section.
