@Larry Yes, but they recoloured him for this unlicensed port for no apparent reason.

Some crocodilian species do come in brown, such as caiman.
I don't know why, but I feel this brown coloration kinda works for him....
It's strange how these bosses don't even have their own theme, it's just the world/level's theme. The one for this world (world 5) is a Genesis remix of Bowser's theme from SMB1 (the 16-bit version ofc).
The other ones include ones from that game including the underwater/title theme, and a few others, including one I've never heard before (and might not be from All Stars in the first place).
