Playing it on the snes plugged into a tube tv, you wouldn't actually have noticed his hair being pink. The farther away you view Link, sitting on a couch or chair, the more his hair appears light brown. As he looks in the ALTTP artwork.

Speaking of the bunny, does he still wear green if he gets hit with the star thing while wearing the other two tunics?

Oh, I didn't see that part. Anyways, it might be for the same reason that the "blue" NPCs and enemies are clearly purple.

@Doc von Schmeltwick Actually, no it doesn't. It uses a different pallet, which it actually shows.

@ShyguyXXL Because it shares a palette with Bunny Link, and Bunny Link would look weird if he were yellow/brown tbh.
