Are the Troopas NPC-only?

I think Satellaview games could be saved, that might be what those SFC memory carts I've seen on Ebay were for.

@mariobot128 Half right. It's true that it was on Satellaview and needed the equipment to "download" the game but the console that it is running on is the SNES. Nintendo could have made physical copies of the game or had it running its Nintendo Power cartridge service compiling all 4 weeks but they didn't. Similar to a game that was on the Sega Channel, it needed the Genesis to run the game despite requiring the addon to "download" the game into the memory. Yet it couldn't get saved and the game gets lost unlike Satellaview (so more like streaming then?). Some Sega Channel games (both US and JP) are saved but... they came from archived discs that Sega once had and one somehow managed to get onto the Wii Shop I believe (Dyna Brothers 2 Special), the earlier JP only SegaNet had compilations at least on the Mega CD and a couple did get physical releases (Fatal Labyrinth and Flicky).

It's no different than saying X game is on PSN or Xbox Live but of course we need to be more into detail which console as it could be either PS3/PSP/Vita/PS4/PS5 or Xbox 360/One/Series with some being released on more than one console.

@ragurando, well, it was only available with the Satellaview/BS-X addon, so it's not really a SNES port

There was a Mario themed SNES port of ExciteBike (that postdates the Mario Kart series), but no Super Excitebike. That's random.
