@OZKai: So the thing about Xenogears is that it's brutally tedious to rip. I looked into it some years ago using no$psx because it's such a popular game I couldn't believe no one had attempted it. Sprites are broken into pieces (pretty common) with no clear grid indicator which makes them hard to recompile. As well, because of the way they're drawn to the screen, you can only pull one frame out at a time compared to viewing the whole sprite map of a character like say Final Fantasy Tactics. Suffice to say, after checking it out I completely understand why no one has tackled it.

EDIT: If you'd like more information on ripping it, feel free to PM me. I'm always more than happy to share anything I've found with other folks. Perhaps you'd even like to rip it yourself if you can deal with how monotonous it is.

I'm so happy to see some Xenogears sprites finally make their way to this site after SO LONG in waiting! Here's hoping to see more eventually.

I feel the motivation to share more sprite rips here. There's actually a lot of sprites I ripped in the past few years (such as Puyo Puyo Tsu Ketteiban for PSX, most of the Sailor Senshi sprites in Sailor Moon R and Aska's Japanese sprites in SNES TMNT Tournament Fighters), but some of them aren't complete yet or might take some time to remove duplicates. Always open to suggestions!

Lots of cool stuff this week! Really enjoyed MegaTheProtogen's Digimon LCD rip, and the Xenogears portraits from kendotlibero. A brunch of small-but-great Super Nintendo submissions too, like Deathbringer's Dragon Lord, and The Deku Butler's Link to the Past overlays.

I didn't manage to finish my submissions for this week, but I've got a bunch of cool JRPG assets coming for the next update.
